YIA offers courses for children from various age groups at the ABB Technical School during the autumn holidays. The children can choose from a variety of projects:
– Game Design
– Web Design
– 3D Modelling
– Raspberry Pi
– Programming with Minecraft Education Edition
Please indicate your preferred topic when registering or decide spontaneously during the course.
YIA workshops autumn 2021
The course is modular and each participant is individually supervised so that everyone can work at their own pace. There are several projects available to choose from.
Price:
1 half-day: 80.-
2 half-days: 140.-
3 half-days: 200.-
4 half-days: 260.-
5 half-days: 320.-
Each additional half-day +60.-
15% sibling discount, for the second child.

The children learn the core concepts of computer science and programming in a relaxed atmosphere. They become playfully familiar with algorithms, sequences and loops, variables, design, and tests, recognize how parts work together and what feedback means, in short, they get an introduction to "computational thinking" - the ability to deal successfully with digital concepts.
The course language is German. No previous knowledge of programming is necessary.
There is water for the children in each workshop. All necessary course material and laptops will be provided.
The workshop is confirmed and will definitely take place.
