YIA Girls
YIA Girls
Girls and technology go great together. Unfortunately, not everyone knows that. Women have conquered many areas of technology. YIA Girls was founded to promote the interest of girls in this field. We do not separate boys and girls, but promote each group individually. Through exchange, both groups learn from each other. You can find more exciting projects and offers below.
Swiss TecLadies
Studies show that many girls do not trust themselves with a career in technology or computer science, even though they have a corresponding talent. Outdated role models and stereotypes are to blame, which are unfortunately difficult to eradicate.
This is where Swiss TecLadies comes in: The aim of the programme is to arouse interest in STEM disciplines (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences, technology) among young people and, in particular, to specifically support technically gifted girls and prepare them for a career in these fields. Youth Intelligence Agency
YIA teaches children in a fun way how technology, computers and robotics work and that there is more to a computer than games and videos. In our courses, children gain a basic understanding of technology and realise what is possible with technology and a little imagination.
